A writer and director of multiple award-winning television and radio ads, Mr. Long formed Long Advertising Inc. in 1990. Long Advertising is a New York based firm specializing in strategic positioning, brand building and new product launches. As CEO and Creative Director, Mr. Long has been the principal architect of campaigns for such diverse clients as: Barami Fashions, Carmen Wines, Disney's Doug, The Direct Marketing Association, Evercel Batteries, Fox Kids Entertainment, Gant, Georges Duboeuf Wines, Humongous Entertainment, IBM, Ilford Photo, International Paper, Jumbo Pictures, Kellogg's, The Learning Company and many more.

Long Advertising has won over 50 national advertising awards in the last three years alone for its television, radio and print advertisements, including the prestigious Telly, Communicator, Vision, Moebius, Silver Microphone and Summit Awards. Mr. Long is also the founder and CEO of MilkMedia, an alternative media company specializing in advertising on the sides of milk containers and has interests in several other marketing and media companies.

Educated at the University of Arizona and the School of Visual Arts in New York City, Mr. Long is an illustrator, painter and printmaker. As a writer, Mr. Long's poetry has appeared in a variety of national publications and he is currently at work on his first novel. Ariane Zurcher hails from a background in journalism and marketing, having been a contributing writer and editor for a variety of periodicals including Elle, Allure, XXIst Century, Aspen Magazine, The Aspen Times and many others. As a freelance copywriter and art director, she has won numerous advertising industry awards for a variety of print, television and radio campaigns including Georges Duboeuf Wines, Barami Fashions, International Paper, Sundance Spas, Fox Kids Television, Humongous Entertainment and many more. She brings with her a wealth of experience in copywriting, marketing and the development of editorial content.

A graduate of Parsons School of Design, Ms. Zurcher continued post-graduate studies in Creative Writing at City College of New York. A mother of two wonderful childen, Ms. Zurcher is also an accomplished director and playwright and is currently producing a documentary on eating disorders.

Gary Christen
Gary Christen is a well-known practitioner of the Uranian or Hamburg School of Astrology. An astrologer since his teens, he was one of the very few to be awarded a B.A. degree from Livingston College, Rutgers University, with an interdisciplinary major in Astrology. In the 1980s he was a full-time astrological consultant to Red Rooster Steel Corporation in New York City, as well as editor of Geocosmic News, a newsletter of the National Council for Geocosmic Research (NCGR), and is currently the cofounder and president of Astrolabe, located on Cape Cod, Massachusetts.

Patricia White
Patricia White began her study of astrology in the early 1970s, when she was an editor and copywriter in the book publishing industry. Several years later she was appointed a Director of the National Council for Geocosmic Research (NCGR). She served as its Publications Director and co-edited its journal and newsletter until 1977. In 1985, for the Cape Cod chapter of NCGR, she organized a master class on the techniques of astrological research. In 1979 she became one of the five founders of Astro-Graphics Services, a company formed during the early days of personal computers to put them to work for astrology. Astro-Graphics (which later became Astrolabe, Inc.) was the first in this newly emerging field to produce horoscope-interpretation software, and one of the first to produce horoscope-calculation software. Besides serving as Astrolabe's Vice-President from the beginning, Pat has been its advertising director, its chief technical writer and, since 1996, editor of its computerized astrological interpretation reports.

Madalyn Hillis-Dineen
Madalyn Hillis-Dineen, located on Cape Cod Massachusetts, is a well-known Uranian astrologer, teacher, author and lecturer and is a certified Astro*Carto*Graphy interpreter, and is currently the Director of Marketing for Astrolabe. An active member in a number of astrological organizations, she is the winner of the 1995 United Astrology Congress Regulus Award for Community Service. She also serves as the Clerk and Parliamentarian of the NCGR National Board of Directors.

Bruce Scofield
Author of the Maya/Aztec Report and our Learn About Astrology tutorial, Bruce Scofield has been an astrological consultant since 1980. He has certification from both the American Federation of Astrologers (AFA) and the National Council for Geocosmic Research (NCGR-IV) and is currently an education director for the latter organization. He maintains a private practice based in Amherst, Massachusetts, working with clients by telephone and mail. Bruce speaks on astrology several times a year at astrology conferences and is also the author of numerous articles and eleven books. He writes regularly for the Mountain Astrologer magazine as "The Uranian Observer."

Judi Vitale
Judi Vitale is an astrologer and writer who lives in New York City. She creates Astro-To-Go's Fun Stuff and provides plain-English explanations of the astrology terms we use throughout the site. Beginning in January 2003, her forecasts will be featured in Redbook. Before joining our staff, she was the astrologer for Mademoiselle, and now she's working on a book that tells people how astrology works in plain language. Judi's been an astrologer for 20 years, earned Level IV certification from NCGR in 1995, (She presently serves on their Board of Directors as Web Coordinator). Judi got into astrology back when they first declared the Dawning of the Age of Aquarius. In fact, she had to read some of her first Sun Sign books under the covers with a flashlight -- way past her bedtime!

Donna Van Toen
Donna Van Toen is located in Toronto, Canada. She has 27 years of astrological experience, including consulting, lecturing, and teaching. She started her studies at age 16. Donna has NCGR-IV Certification and is on the advisory boards of both AFAN and NCGR and has served four terms on the AFAN Steering Committee. She is currently President of the UAC Board. In addition, she is the convenor of THE STATE OF THE ART, a yearly conference held in the Toronto, Canada area. Donna is the author of two books --- The Astrologer's Node Book, and The Mars Book. She was the 2002 recipient of the AFAN Community service award.

Meira began her astrologer career in 1978. In addition to her private practice, she is a teacher on the faculty of the NYC Chapter of NCGR,, a speaker for the NCGR conferences and for many local chapters. Meira has translated the Hebrew Track for Project Hindsight and for ARHAT publications (The astrology books of Rabbi Avraham Ibn Ezra, as well as Maimonides' Correspondence About Astrology).
